Hey guys,
New to the forum, I purchased a lifted ram 3500 from a dealer and was looking to get an idea of how much the towing capacity is reduced. It is a 2015 Ram 3500 6.4 Hemi 4x4 with 3.73s from factory. The best I can tell from investigation (as the dealer was useless) it is a rough country lift which was only offered as a 5” lift and measuring the stock height to current height, it seems to match up pretty close. It is advertised as having maintained the payload capacity from factory. It is on 37X12.5R20 Nitto terra grappler g2s. I know I will need a significant drop of 10-12”. I know the bigger tires effect the gearing in a negative way for towing. I am just trying to figure out what a “safe” towing capacity would be with the modifications present. It also has a 7ft “flatbed”. If that impacts it as well.
