Forgive me if this has been discussed or if I'm off base here.

I thought I had read that Ram will be redesigning the interior cab on model year 2023 3500 series trucks. The reason for the redesign was to increase a more panoramic view. Ram owners felt that the current models obstruct the view too much and complained.

Any truth to this?

Not sure about when it will happen, but when the Heavy Duty’s are transitioned to a new body, I would imagine that it’d be the same cab/body as the current 1500’s (possibly with some minor differences in the fenders/grille/hood/etc to distinguish between the 1500s and Heavy Duty’s as Ram has done in the past).

2023 will be a mid-cycle refresh, but HD’s are keeping the smaller crew cabs for the foreseeable future

2023 more than likely. The Heavy Duty models will also get an update than as well, but still keeping the 4th Gen cab.

I think they are focusing on the Ford philosophy, if it ain't broke don't fix it. (Super Duty). Besides HDs don't have the emissions, regulations, or safety rules like the half-ton models.
