Hey, I just bought this Ram 2024 Bighorn/LoneStar, and for some reason, it struggles to shift into the 8th gear. While driving it on the street, it's as smooth as butter, but when I hit the highway, it feels terrible. It didn't start off like that, but after a trip to the dealer, it feels even worse. At 70mph, it sits at 2 rpms in the 7th gear. When I take my foot off and reapply it, it downshifts to 6, then 7, and then the rpms just keep getting higher, but never hits the 8th gear. Currently, the truck has 400 miles on it. I was told this is normal because it is learning my driving patterns.

What is your gear ratio?

That's not normal. Are you locking out 8th gear by chance using the +/- buttons?
No, the ERS is off, the dealer claim it is the transmission learning my driving, but I call ********.
