If ordering a new truck and I live in NY is a trade in possible of my truck without driving it in?

Depends on the dealer entirely. I've had dealers that have no issue doing trades sight unseen, some want to see it. Generally it depends on the trade. If your vehicle is most likely not underwater (meaning you owe more than they are willing to give you), then they will do it without seeing it. However, if the trade in is relatively new (say less than 2 years old), in my experience they want to see it first.

Thanks but I was thinking of Mark Dodge specifically.
There are a number of ways to tackle a long distance trade -each with some pros and cons.

FIRST and foremost, we can do trade values remotely using VIN #, mileage, and a few photos.

SECOND and very important - there are a LOT of ways to skin a cat on a car deal, don't get married to one - ultimately you'll want to compare a few options and decide what is going to work best for time, money, and effort. A lot of factors come into play.

As far as logistics, a distance trade can be shipped, driven, and in some cases traded remotely (without coming all the way to Louisiana).
All depends on too many variables to provide a flow-chart for in the wild :)

Feel free to connect directly at [email protected] and we can get more specific.

For future reference it would be good to be specific about that either in your thread title or your first post when making threads like this. Or even tag the Mark Dodge rep in your post.

Well he DID post it in the right section. But honestly it was pure luck that I saw it... I didn't get a blinky light or nuthin.
