So I’ve done the AC hack repair on my truck twice now and here’s my question. In every vehicle I have ever owned to bleed the cooling system I just remove the radiator cap and let the truck run til the thermostat opens , you’ll see bubbles and then you’ll see the coolant start cycling through the radiator when the stat opens. Why is it that on this motor it seems to build up pressure and overflows out of the radiator just before the tstat opens. I bet it loses a 1/4 of a gallon when it overflows. I’ve done this procedure twice now and it has done the same thing both times.
