Puddle lights while in reverse

Does anyone know whether the puddle lights (i.e. lights under the side mirrors) can be toggled so that they turn on when the truck is in reverse? I really enjoy the bird's eye camera view feature on the truck. At night, however, there is not enough peripheral lighting and the left and right portions of the bird's eye view are basically black and useless (unless there happens to be adequate external lighting from, for example, parking lot area lights). Thanks in advance for your feedback and suggestions.

I am putting in a couple of rock lights exactly for this reason and a few other reason like camping / off road etc

Let us know how that goes. I'd like to do the same thing but was hoping puddle lights would be an interim solution. Glhf.

Interesting. I believe the 2500/3500s have this also.

Yeah this was a STUPID thing for ram to do you cant see anything at night on the sides from birds eye view.

You can always add rocker lights tied into the reverse lights.
