I have a 2025 Ram Rebel X that has been having electrical issues with the transfer case, to include the DTCM. It has happened twice so far, but when driving normal or at high way speeds, the truck tries to switch out from 2WD into 4H but can't recognize the switch and then stalls out due to lack of correct drive train recognition. At first dealer, techs said that on connector D6648C it was shorting at the 5 volt supply, then connector Y238A Pin 23, 5 Volt supply shorted, and finally connector D3872A Pin 10, 5 Volt supply shorted. After repair and replacement of DTCM, it was supposed to fix it. Upon pick up of truck when it was fixed, not even 30 minutes of driving it happened again. Now it's back in the shop for same issue but this time Short to Ground, Voltage out of range, and another Short to ground with what I assume the same wire harness. I do not have connector numbers/pins just yet. They said they fixed the shorts but my DTCM needs replacement again. Does anyone have similar issue or knowledge on it. Truck can't drive and has been in the shop for over a month.
