Hello,
I have a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland and I know many people with Ram pick ups have been having the same problem of the Dash staying lit with the push brake to start message along with the push to start button staying lit and draining the vehicle battery after parking the vehicle and shutting door with or without locking. Same issue on my Jeep and I found out that if I shut the drivers door and the dash message stays on the screen and the push to start button stays lit after about 5 minutes the vehicle dash and start button will shut off. However If the back screen is staying lit and then shutting off and coming back non-stop and the push to start button is doing the same they will not shut off and will drain the battery.
Has anyone found a solution for this yet from a dealer? I have unhooked the main and stop to start auxiliary battery and left over night plus deleted the Jeep/Ram off my phone which is what I understand the dealers are advising. I would rather not have the dealer touch my vehicle if I can prevent.
Any input is appreciated on your experience with your pick-up. I do own a 2018 Ram 2500 Laramie Cummins and have no issue at all with the dash shutting off.
