I have about 1500 miles left on my 100,000 mile power train warranty (bought certified which extends it). Any suggestions for having a dealer check things out that may be failing and I just dont know it? I have no known issues at this time so hesitant to have them go digging and break something. Manifolds were replaced at 60k and dont seem to be a recurring problem.

i'm glad you plan on keeping it. my friend of 30 years has done routine maintenance and changed his oil every 5k mi and he has 245k mi on his. it don't leak a drop or burn oil......and never had any major work done other than the manifolds. and it's not a POS
his has no mods and it's 2wd.

Wouldn't hurt to take it in for an oil change and multi-point inspection. Last chance to get any issues recorded on the books prior to the expiration.

You could pay for an inspection, but unless you find a shady mechanic that will replace good parts just to get the money, I doubt they would find anything so obvious that it would meet criteria for warranty replacement. But, if it's a 4wd, Probably wouldn't hurt to at least get the front axles and intermediate shafts checked out. If there is any extra play in them, try to get them replaced.
