Power Running boards

I changed the motors in both running boards (non OEM motors). Running boards work fine but on both sides the rear of the boards do not tuck all the way up. I’ve used compressed air, power washer and silicone lubricant to try and get all dirt out and get hinges loose. Still not going up.

Are they able to be torn apart for better cleaning, or maybe just buy new hinges aftermarket?
