2022 Ram 1500 Limited with power running boards. Less than 40k miles. It's usually kept clean and we don't live/drive on salted roads so no corrosion.
Few weeks back I notice the Control panel on the LCD screen wouldn't accept changes to the auto/store settings. It kept returning a 'setting not saved'. Usually the setting is set to store, and that is it's current setting, but the driver side auto loads per the auto setting, and the passenger side remains lowered at all times. I don't believe its a motor issue, but rather a control sensor or 'bug'. I've tried resetting the Control module by disconnecting battery for 20 minutes and that didn't work. The hinges have been cleaned and no obstruction is present. No rust or corrosion. Thought I'd try here before the dreaded next step - calling dealership.
Could doing a factory reset of the Uconnect system potentially fix this issue?
