I have a 2022 Ram 1500 Longhorn. The other day I parked in the driveway (slight incline), put it in park and let off the brake, and it did the usual little rollback. I shut the truck off and before I could get out, it started rolling down the driveway (not sliding, tires were turning). It scared me, I slammed on the brakes, and it stopped. I drove around a little and came back to try and recreate the situation but couldn’t get it to repeat. I am now constantly using the park brake (that electric push button, which I hate).
Yesterday I was parked on some ice when leaving work. Turned the truck on and it was idling fine. With my foot on the brake, I turned the dial shifter to D and immediately the tires started spinning on the ice and it was revving up (foot still on brake). I pulled my foot off and slammed it back down on the brake and it stopped.
Any ideas what’s going on??
Extra info:
Roughly 48k miles
Completely stock
Never had any issues until now.
