Possible to show full-screen CarPlay on 8.4” screen?

Hi all,

In my other vehicle, CarPlay takes up the entire screen. You can exit out of it temporarily if you want to change a built in car setting
(A/C, radio, etc.).

in my Ram, CarPlay is shrunken, since the bottom inch or so of the screen permanently displays icons for the “native” features of uConnect.

is there a way to get full-screen CarPlay?

Nope this is my biggest pet peeve with uConnect . It’s even worst on the 12 inch screen . It’s FCA‘s fault . Subaru had the same issue with their screens but sent out an update that lets carplay run full screen

This is my pet peave on the 12” as well.
It’s smaller on my 12” than it was on my 8” screen. Lol

Ditto here. There are several other Mfgs that take advantage of the full screen. Hoping that FCA goes that route on the upcoming Uconnect5.
