Possessed AC

I’m experiencing a random issue with the AC in my 2021 Laramie. For reference it has the 8 inch screen with the 3 knobs below for ac/fan speed/ auto. Randomly the air conditioner will switch to heat and stop blowing air out of the dash vents. Then randomly on its own it will suddenly switch back to ac and blow air out of the dash vents. Does anyone have experience with random issues regarding the ac?

It will blow from the dash vents when cooling and the floor vents when heating, sounds like the system is attempting to maintain a set temperature, do you have it in auto?
Take it out of auto, set a temperature and what vents you want the air to come out of. See what happens, should stay in the selected vents. If not then more troubleshooting would be in order.
