Got a letter in the mail today from Mopar that my 2021 that I've had for 22 months may be getting close to having its 3yr/36k mile warranty expire.
My truck has 33k miles on it.

I've had it to the dealer once for the first oil change. Other than that there have been no other connections to my truck from the factory...this means the truck is phoning home.

Not surprised, but makes one wonder just how much data gets uploaded. Do they monitor key cycles, oil life reset, WOT events, etc etc.

They can download updates. They can upload information from the truck as well. A fact of modern life, good or bad, it's here to stay.

I've got a couple of those. Strangely worded, seem to imply that my warranty will expire if I don't put more miles on.
Couldn't find an emoji for shredder. 🗑️
