Ok, didn’t realize you meant plasti-dip style paint. People have a lot of names for things and the real meaning is easily lost in text. Yeah, that’s a problem then. I haven’t dealt with this specific issue, so I’m not going be of any help here. You could possibly just call a couple body shops and ask.I think i just sprayed it too thin.
peel paint is intended to peel overspray off.
thats a big part of its appeal.
edit to add… i guess i forgot to add that i used plasti peel paint.
sorry… it was in the title though….
That’s pretty coolThat is your problem, the overspray is too thin to peel. I've used this with excellent results...
Dip Dissolver™
Dip Dissolver will re-liquify Plasti Dip® in an effort to remove dip that's too thin to peel. Use Dip Dissolver in those situations in which the Plasti Dip® was applied too thin to peel. Sometimes customers will apply the dip too thin, and after a period of time, it can be difficult to peel off...www.dipyourcar.com
Just don't get it on any of the dipped parts you want to keep...dipped, obviously.
