Passenger front A pillar gap issues

I was washing my truck and while cleaning my front windshield I noticed a huge gap in the front a pillar. I tried playing with it but it just keeps going back to its original position. Is this a common issue with the passanger front A pillar?

An instalation problem during build. Make a list and setup a dealer appointment. A 5 minute fix unless the cover was damaged due to improper install.
