Parking brake fun fact

Did you know.... If you have your parking brake set to automatically come on when placed in park that it will turn off automatically if you have your seatbelt on when you place it in gear. If your seatbelt if not on you will need to turn off the parking brake manually.
I wondered why it turned off sometimes but not always... Its the little things..

Mine turns on when I put it in park and turns off when I put it in gear. I know with the seat belt off it won't disengage but pit it in park snap the seat belt and it will disengage..

The parking brake will auto disengage regardless the auto parking setting ON or OFF (seatbelt must be on).

Interesting...when I went for my test drive with the salesperson, he didn't have his belt on. I had set it to auto in the parkinglot, while waiting for him. I switched it back, as it seemed like a pain. Will try again...
