I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Limited w/195k miles. My truck all of a sudden started making noise like when timing is off and check engine light came on. First code was P000B. I changed oil and filter, air filter, crankshaft positioning sensor, EVAP solenoid, PCV, MAP sensor and charcoal cannister. After all that P000B code never came back but now i kept getting P0172 and P0175. Kept checking for leaks and couldnt find any until i noticed one of the lines to EVAP solenoid was loose. Fixed it and drove truck for good 20-30 minutes and all was fine. Next day i drive truck for like 5 minutes and check engine light comes back...scan it and get code P0175. Truck turns on good no issues and on idle its smooth...maybe very faint misfire every now and then. When i accelerate it hesitates and shifts at what seems higher RPMs. This last scan, P0175, changing 02 sensor was solution given. If its the o2 sensor, why does it take so long to throw code after i clear the codes? And am i clearing the codes correctly; i only disconnect the negative cable to battery? Any help is appreciated. Just want my truck to work again. Thanks in advance.
