Brand new truck and the overhead lights won’t turn on… Does anybody know how to fix this? The backseat ones do turn on.

Not sure but the center console could have an off setting. I'd check that the switches are set correctly.

Are you saying even pushing the map light button the map lights don't come on? Or just that they don't come on when you open the doors?

The switches are on the overhead map light / vanity light (center of windshield area on the over head console). One switch is on the driver side, other switch is on passenger side. You can turn them on or off as you sit in the seat as your driving whatever, and I believe a solid off where they won't turn on if you open the door. It's a 3 way sliding type switch.

OK, I went to my truck and looked at the interior lights. No more guessing.
There are no interior cab options on the head light switch. The only switches are on the map light over head console. You have separate light on / off for each front seat. You have both on, both set for automatic as you open the doors and the lights go on and you have off. Off kills the lights for the whole interior.
So your truck has a problem, If it lights in the rear it has to light the map lighting in front. Maybe you have 2 bulbs out? unlikely I think to have 2 out together.

There is a chance the wiring plug got disconnected some how. There is a way to remove the console up above and then you can change the bulbs from behind (I replaced them with LEDs)
I would pull the light down and see if you have unplugged somehow, Or change the bulbs and see?

Here the link
Good luck.

Thanks, I just ended up disconnecting the interior fuse f33 for 5-10 minutes to reset it and it worked :)
