Hey first post here, looking to upgrade the suspension on this 25 Limited.

I wanted the ORP but there were no trucks in a 6'4 bed with the night package that had it. Only ones that did were longhorns 2k+ miles away.

I would have had to special order it, so dealer said they could add it after the fact.

In my head it was a part swap, ORP springs for the 1 inch lift with bilstein shocks for a cushier ride, & the skid plates too.

They got back to me & were talking about deleting my air suspension and rebuilding it like a Rebel's, not what I had in mind.

I tried searching & some of the posters here say that the ORP air suspension is totally different, others say they've swapped these parts out no problem.

If I were to go to a different dealer/shop, what should I tell them? Is what I am asking for do-able?

ORP is more than suspension. So, just upgrade the suspension with after market. There are plenty out there than can more than handle the job.

Sweet looking Limited. If you took delivery, you literally own it no matter what. Or lease? Either way, if you delete the air suspension you're likely in for some growing pains. Agree, just follow H2OMAN.

Thanks, yeah I'm not crying about it but the dealer is being shady, not calling me baby.

Like I care though, I didn't want to wait & this was close enough.

There's better aftermarket off road kits than the factory one anyhow, & payload would be less.. Its only 1246..! I would have had to swap the hitachi for bilstein too.

What I wanted from the ORP was the better shocks and the longer springs. I didn't know that the air bags were bigger & the compressor was different with the ORP selected as an option though. They don't mention that anywhere.
