Oil Question

My Ram has 6K on it. First oil change at about 4500. So in 1500 miles the oil level is full but the color of it is a dark burnt amber. Is this normal because the Hemi runs hot? I have a 2004 Grand Cherokee with the 6.0 and at every oil change the color is clear, never dirty or defiled. Thanks

I have never changed clear oil.
It's normal. It's the lubricant quality's that matter not the color, dark black is normal.
