My 2020 now displays a low oil pressure light after about twenty miles of travel. I have tried the following to solve this; removed excess oil (two quarts), and replaced oil pressure sensor,
I still does it, also after about 20 miles. I go home and park the thing, give it about 2 hours rest and then it starts with no light. Any ideas?

aftermarket oil pressure sensor or OEM? I’ve seen them finicky for AM and fine w/ OEM sensors.

Otherwise, oil pump.

I am confused? You overfilled during an oil change?

How do you get 2qts over filled when the truck takes 7qts to be fine with?

I just bought this truck in July. The truck has 34,000 miles on it. It's a 2020 ecodiesel. OK, when the low pressure light went I panicked a bit and dumped i more oil, as what was on he dipstick was too light. My bad, well dumb really.
The engine oil capacity is 8.5 quarts. Would a bad oil pump be on again/ off again. In my experience when something breaks it stays broke, except for electrical items.

I forgot to add that I installed an OEM pressure sensor.
