the one inch lift that comes with the off-road package.... can anyone please tell me if its solely due to the upgraded shocks or does the truck have more spring length? Or perhaps something else that’s giving in the 1 inch lift? Just wondering if I can buy the sport package and get some different sharks and have the same thing. Thanks

It’s the springs that give it the extra inch. You can always level the front with the adjustable Bilstein 5100 struts or the rough country 2” leveling struts.

Different angle UCAs?

Thanks for the info. Gonna just get the off road package

How is the 1” achieved with the ORG on the limited with air suspension?

It's programmed to ride 1" higher, i.e. its "Normal" is the same as "Off Road 1" on a non-ORG truck. And its "Off Road" mode is equivalent to "Off Road 2" on a non-ORG truck. So it has 4 air suspension levels instead of 5, just like a Rebel with air suspension.

(Lots of old threads on this, too)

The springs are not longer, they have a different spring rate so that they sit 1" higher in their travel. This is also the reason for the different shocks, they will have different valving for compression and rebound to match the different spring rate. Dimensionaly they are identical.

hell i my just throw my ready lift level on before i trade, just didnt want to go back to 15 mpg

this seems to be where the smart people hang lol, i noticed about a 4 mpg diff when i added my ready lift, anyone with just spacer have input on how it changes, just seems like leveling in general changes mpg 2 mpg plus on average bc of just no rake, any input?

For my last Ram when I went with just a level and no change in wheels / tires, I lost about 2mpg. The shop told be it was because the truck was even less aerodynamic then it was before lol.

yeah that is just crazy to me especially in the city, losing 2 mpg just bc of the rake, but the numbers dont lie

i know i was getting about 19 on mine stock then about 15 after readylift then didnt really change after putting on 35s, weird stuff indeed
