So I have a 2021 ram 1500 big horn with the halogens and I’ve been looking at swapping to the OEM led housing, I have the oem part numbers for the housings but my question is that I’ve seen multiple threads that have conflicting info in my opinion, one said you need the retro shop harness and one said you didn’t so if anyone who has done this swap could shine some light that would be appreciated, I also have the JScan but what setting will have to be changed in order to get them to work correctly, white truck on the left

Get in touch with @Jimmy07 here on the forum, he can make you an original harness so they work like OEM. No resistors. Two wires to the BMC and they work like factory.

I will clarify this for you right now.

You DO need the harness.

You DO NOT need to chance any settings to make them work correctly.

I personally did the swap several years ago on my 2019 Big Horn.

Retroshop has step-by-step installation instructions on their website.
