Picked up an OEM LED 3rd brake. Didn't do the digital mirror but it's the best and only quality option for us 5th gen guys. It's too bad someone hasn't come out with a 3rd brake thats as good or better than the OEM. they're missing out on a lot of sales 😆

Did it have the stock foam tape gasket on it?

Looks good. I hate that my Limited has all LED lights except for the CHMSL. You have to get the Bed Utility package to get that I believe.

Was there a harness in there for the digital rear view mirror? I wonder how hard it is to add that. Does it come with the camera already installed?

You need the technology package! And yes it does come with the camera. All you would need is the digital rearview which is like 1200 bucks and then a coax wire which is like 10 bucks on Amazon. Not worth it to me haha but the swap is easy to do other than footing the money for the mirror.
If you have a 19-20, you would need a BCM as well

Did you need to program any changes going from the factory fixture to the LED upgrade fixture? I have that equipment but just curious if it is really plug and play so to speak. My truck is included in the leaking rear cab brake light fixture so I am looking at being proactive before I have a leak.
Thanks in advance for the information. :)

Yes it does, seals great. Pressure washed to test it out!

My $.2 its the same style bs gasket they use on the regular leaky cargo lamps that will eventually get soaked and just continue hold water. I would suggest removing it and installing your own marine rubber gasket (lowes/home depot) although its not leaking right this second. Same fix for the basic style cargo lamp.

No programming needed! Plug and play. The plugs are the same😁

I'll definitely keep and eye on it and maybe do that eventually!
