Was at my dealership today and was in the service dept, and notice a few tech's looking up at a truck on the rack it seems a customer brought it in for his oil change and pointed it out to the tech and ask what was this here.I walk over and we see a huge patch located near the top of the inner fender area of the bed located behind the wheel well.
Not sure I left before any outcome, the service writer was taking pictures of it, and sending to tech service's.I just look up between shot's and snap this one.It was quite big in size and felt like Kevlar in touch or fiberglass...The outside panel showed no damage at all.But this doesn't surprise me, after the things I have heard and seen from this 5th gen launch.I have had no issue's at all with my truck since day one, but the jury is still out an I only have around 7000 miles on my truck. But I tell you one thing my dealership is just swapped with people buying Ram 1500,2500,3500 truck's.Jeep's and even I saw a Chrysler 300 SRT that was ordered and being off-loaded.And get this I saw a brand new 2019 Dodge Hellcat being prepped for a customer. This is even after ordering has long been gone.Lift kits galore going on.It is amazing that the staff at my dealership does the excellent work they do each day..They are just extremely busy.Saw a Jeep pickup as well it was off loaded and sitting inside the service dept.A Rubicon model..
