North edition a good off road truck?

Hey guys i just purchased a north edition. The truck will be fun to take up to the mountains during the snow season, but i was wondering if it is worth taking it off roading?

Any 4x4 pickup can do quite a bit of off-roading, and that North edition adds some good features to make it even better. Of course your definition of off-road matters, but you could do really well with your North edition. If I recall it is like the off-road package without the lift and skid plates, and you might still get the 4-auto mode. I think of it as an ideal snow driving package with a little less on-road compromise than the off-road package has; I really like the setup.

Actually the north edition has the same suspension as the ORP but doesn’t come with the full array of skid plates.
