Having a lot of issues with me sirius in my 2021 ram 1500 laramie .... there is NO SIGNAL.... says "Acquiring Signal" ..... I have called sirius several times and they have sent me updates and new signals but nothing and told me to take it to a dealership and have it looked at. Maybe the antena or loose wire. I have removed radio and uconnect, unhooked battery to reset and everything i can think of without taking it to the dealership yet.... with no luck..... I know there is a few people here that have experienced this same issue..... WHAT DID YOU DO TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM ?

ANY HELP AND DIRECTION IS APPRECIATED

Thank You
Brett

Similar situation, bought a new 2025 Jeep GC Summit. Took it for a short drive before actually doing the deal, and mentioned that the SiriusXM wasn’t picking up a signal.
Oh, he said you’ll need to drive it for a while for it to find the signal. I knew that it wasn’t the how it should work. I’ve had SiriusXM for many years now and all my previous experiences did not agree with his assumption.
Took it home, about 25-30 miles, no SiriusXM. Next day, backed out the JGC of the garage. Called SiriusXM, refreshed the signal, nothing. SXM told me it should be working as they see nothing wrong from their end.
Back to the dealership and after some troubleshooting it was determined that the roof antenna needed to be replaced. Been working fine ever since.

Alright… ya I have had a lifetime subscription for Sirius for 20 years (they don’t sell lifetime subscription anymore)…. I’m familiar and ya that’s not how it’s suppose to be lol. I’m thinking it might be an antenna or something. Trying to possibly figure it out before spending the money at a dealership…. I appreciate the response and feedback.

Richbc, yeah, I can appreciate trying to avoid the dealership, and in my case it was brand new. Electronics on vehicles today are making it very difficult to be the “shade tree mechanic”.
And parts availability and pricing sometimes make it unwise to just start throwing parts at it.
They did tell me that when the original antenna was removed, that it “ratttled” like something was loose inside.
Maybe having the dealership troubleshoot it might be a good option.
Basically you have a SXM module, antenna wiring and the antenna. Good luck. I have a lifetime membership on one of my radios too. 5 subscriptions in total.

Ya I have an appointment on Friday if nothing gets solved by then…. Going to hook up my blindspot harness’s and run to the mirrors before then.
