Overview — What This Is
MOLLE panels mounted to center consoles don’t need introduction. You already know what they are and what they’re for. The problem has never been the panel - it’s always been how to mount it properly.Up until now, every solution on the DT platform required drilling into the console. Do a quick search and you’ll see it.
This fixes that.
This panel is designed specifically for the Ram DT platform using factory mounting points + dedicated brackets, instead of self-tapping screws into plastic. The system uses the factory 10mm mounting location to generate clamping force and tie into actual structure. Goal is simple:
- secure mounting
- no permanent modification
- OEM-adjacent fitment
The Problem With Existing Setups
People have been running universal MOLLE panels on these trucks for a while now, but they all share the same issues:Drilling into interior
Not everyone wants to put holes into their center console - especially if:- the truck is leased
- resale matters
- or you just don’t want to commit
Load on plastic
This is the bigger issue. All the load - panel + gear - ends up concentrated on:
- thin plastic
- small drilled holes
- holes start to oval out
- mounting loosens
- panel starts to move
Design Approach — Why This Exists
Per typical Boogielander way of doing things, this wasn’t designed to “kind of work.” It was designed to fix the mounting problem properly satisfying the two principles:1. Match the vehicle
- Panel follows console geometry
- Sits flush instead of fighting the surface
2. Use real mounting points
- Factory 10mm location is used intentionally
- Brackets spread load across a larger area
- Bolt preload creates clamping force
Not screws. Not plastic. Not hope. Not dreams.
Mounting System — How It Works
- 5052 aluminum brackets
- Factory mounting point (with replacement M6 × 45mm bolt)
- Secondary support from bracket interface
Result:
- minimal flex
- reduced vibration
- load transferred into structure, not trim
Why No-Drill Matters
You can drill. Plenty of people do.But everything comes with trade-offs:
- Drill → permanent
- No-drill → reversible
- don’t want permanent modification
- swap gear / setups
- care about keeping the interior intact
Included Contents
- Trim profile matching 5052 aluminum MOLLE panel
- Mounting brackets
- MOLLE nuts (1" × 0.75")
- Full hardware set (M5/M6)
- MOLLE spacers
- Replacement bolt for factory mounting point
- Optional storage box
Intended Use
Interior gear mounting. That’s it.- radios
- med kits
- tools
- EDC
- holsters

Installation Steps:
Not complicated, but also not something I’m going to hand-hold step-by-step.Basic idea:
- mock it up first
- attach brackets
- install front to back (hook → press → slide)
- adjust with spacers if needed
- tighten everything once you’re happy
Why Choose This Over Other Options
If your priorities are:- clean fitment
- no drilling
- rigidity under load
- removable setup
If you’re fine drilling into plastic, then do that.
You can even skip the brackets entirely and run spacers with longer bolts — same as every other setup.
Plus, you know Boogielander – I only do things the correct way. This is doing things correctly.
Available Options
- Black powdercoat
- Raw aluminum
- Single
- Pair
Final Thoughts
This isn’t trying to reinvent MOLLE panels. It just fixes the two weak points:
- bad mounting
- poor fitment
