Hey, so just had the dealer install an OEM remote start. I have the 1500 Bighorn with Level 1 Equipment Group so no Auto Comfort settings, no auto climate (not even a button for it), no heated seats or steering wheel, non nav 8.4 radio, no remote start before today....pretty basic. So to my surprise when I opened the door after remote starting it, the truck was blowing super cold air (60 degrees out)...with all climate controls turned off. Once I hit the start button, Air turned off. What does this mean? I assumed I would have to preset the climate controls before remote starting it to get my desired temp before getting in the truck but its picking up the temperature on its own. Does this mean the truck is prewired for auto climate or something? Dealer didnt do anything else other than just install the remote start

*Below is my climate control setup. Radio has no options to control it

It's in the manual. It states about at what temps it turns heating or cooling on for auto start. I don't remember exactly.

Huh didn’t know it would do that without auto climate. Good to know tho. Pleasantly surprised for sure

I believe it's 40 or colder for the heat and I'm not really sure about the AC
