Recently purchased a 22 1500 laramie with air ride. Tires on it are the nitto recon grapplers. 33x12.50r22 max psi of 80. I know the door Jame says 36psi front and rears. I emailed nitto the sent me back this

Does 58psi sound good to you guys? Such a wide range. Was seeing if anyone here have the recon or ridge grapplers and what you run yours at. Thanks.

I just had a set of 35x12.5x20 Recon Grapplers put on my 22 Bighorn 1500 and am running 38 psi with no issues, that's what the shop that installed them set them at.

58 is was too high. That's probably an E rated tire. 38-40 psi is probably sufficient. I run my XL rated 305/55R20 Ridge Grapplers at 40 PSI.

Just remember the door jam stick is recommended pressures for factory tires. Nittos are not factory tires, so anything the sticker says is null and void. Start at 58 and see how it rides and how contact patch looks. Adjust from there until you are happy. There isnt a one size fits all tire pressure.

They probably set to what the door sticker says because that's how they are trained. They will only use different pressure if owner requests it.

Thanks everyone. I have them around 40 and the ride seems good. I will play around with the pressure a bit and see what feels best. Maybe 45 or 50 and see how it performs. I figured nitto would know best. I told them the year and model of the truck.

It's a couple psi higher than my door sticker, but so far the contact patch seems to be spot on
