Last weekend I flew from Milwaukee WI to Syracuse NY and drove back my new to me 21 Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition with the 3.0 Ecodiesel, Ram Boxes and Multi-function tailgate. The national stop sale on Ecodiesels that Chrysler implemented 3 months ago made it difficult to find one that i wanted since i was limited to private parties and non-Chrysler dealers. But thanks to the www and a little patience, i was able to track down one that checked all my must have boxes at a Chevy dealer in Pulaski NY.
First order of business is to replace the original Goodyear Eagle Grand Touring tires that performed as sadly as they look. With 22,000 miles on the clock, the wear on these tires is disappointing and I'm having a set of Continental Terrain Contact HT's installed this weekend. 2nd order of business is having the windows tinted cuz i'm not a fan of getting baked by the sun. 3rd order of business is installing a catch can and EOC Stage 1 tune to improve engine component longevity and add a little horsepower and torque. Final order of business is to figure out what suspension setup will provide better stability at highway speeds when encountering rough roads. The air ride suspension seems to work well enough but it just doesn't seem well planted when encountering less than optimal road conditions above 50 mph. Hopefully this site can help me get that sorted out.
