I am Gary H. I totaled out my 2012 Ram Big Horn and just purchased a 2019 1500 and think I liked the old one better.

was just use to the old one and the new one feels like has less power when I am pulling my boat the 2012 engine looked like new and the one with 266 mile looks like it has been dipped in saltwater, rust and oxidation bad.

Are you comparing apples to apples? Which engines did both trucks have? My 2019 feels about the same as my 2016 and both are v8 and 8 speed trans

The new transmission takes some time to learn and adapt to the way you drive. Hopefully that will get better. Gearing can also make a big difference. As for the rust, I wouldn't be too happy about rust on a new truck, either.

Welcome to 5thGenRams!!! That appearance is crazy, very sorry to hear about that. About my biggest complaint is the 8-speed in these trucks. Very odd. Cruising around, seems to shift quick as it can, but you put the pedal down, and geez. Can almost make a sandwich between redline and the next shift.
