Welp, just had 4 new Michelin Defenders installed on my 2019 1500 Limited after only 15500 miles on my crappy O.E. Goodyears. I've always hated Goodyears and I have previous experiences with their bad tread life, but this takes the cake. They were just about at the wear indicator on all 4 tires and had some cupping on the front. The guy that inspected my tires also noted that they had dry rot. I opened up a claim with Goodyear a day earlier that I had the Michelins put on and they told me that they don't normally have any kind of warranty on O.E. tires, but would try to help me out once they were inspected by a local Goodyear retailer which I did. I thought about it after having it inspected and just said screw it and bought the Michelins. I didn't want to have to replace whatever Goodyears that would be put on it if they gave me some kind of credit towards new Goodyears. I originally was going to go with Cooper Discoverer AT3-4S, but they would have had to been ordered. I had the Michelins installed the next day with an alignment. My truck rides likes new and I'm happy with my purchase. F Goodyear!!

I was in the same boat in October except at 20,000 miles, my tires were also gone and on the wear bars. I didn't bother with Goodyear and just went with Pirelli Scorpion AS+3, I have a friend that's a manager at discount tire and he was able to help me out on the price, paid as much for the Pinellas as replacement Goodyears would have cost me, saved about $70 per tire.

Overall I'm happy with the Pirellis plus they are about an inch wider than the Goodyears and look far better
