New Skid Plate on 2019 rebel, 2020 comparison?

Hello, I want the black look of the 2020 rebel on my 2019. The silver skid plate on mine has to go. I know the part number for the black skid plate on the 2020 is 5zb47gxhaa. It says it wont fit my 2019 but I think it might. Does anyone have any experience with this? I did plasti dip mine but it keeps coming off. Thanks

Try using bed liner instead of plasti-dip. That's what I used for the 4th gen Rebel I used to drive.

I am curious about this as well. I was going to get mine Line-X coated but would rather buy the oem version and just swap them if possible. In my searching it seems like I have found about as much as you have. I'm going to keep digging though.
