Ok, I’m starting to learn the features on my 2020 Ecodiesel, after trading in my 2011 Ford F-150. It has emergency braking. Is this a feature you can change or disable? Is it correct that you disable it in reverse when you disable the “park sense”?

You can definitely disable the rear braking assist feature. I haven't tried disabling park sense to see if that also disables rear braking assist, I prefer having park sense on but rear braking assist off. The rear braking assist is too sensitive and pretty regularly scares the crap out of me by slamming the brakes on when I'm backing up for no apparent reason.

You can turn the rear brake assist off in the infotainment screen .

Gotcha. Thanks. I’m assuming the font brake assist is just always there for emergencies. Like dummies on their phones instead of paying attention, not that I’ve ever done that.

Mine doesn't have front brake assist, I'm guessing you must have adaptive cruise control on your truck and the front brake assist is a feature of that.

Now I am starting to question myself. There’s something on the sheet off of the window that says ready-alert braking(?). It doesn’t have adaptive cruise control.

“Ready Alert Braking prepares the brakes for a panic stop when sensors detect a quick release of the accelerator pedal that suggests you may need to stop suddenly.” The Ram engineers found it saves on seat material being trashed from puckering due to a requirement to stop suddenly!

Haha! Now I know. It’s rough when your truck is smarter than you are.
