I ordered a new Limited 1500, billet silver, split gate, cargo bed upgrade, 3.21 rear end, 4x4, black interior, etorque 5.7 L motor; 33 gal tank, which the dealership filled when I drove it home. A bit of an upgrade over my Toyota Corolla! First impressions: love the visibility from the drivers seat; so smooth on the road; lots to learn about the safety features....ex. I put the bike rack on the tow hitch, loaded up the bikes for a day at the beach, backing out of the garage the truck slams on the brakes! My first reaction was that I hit something, then I read the dash......BRAKE was displayed. The bike rack triggered the backup safety sensor. I learned quickly how to disable this feature.

Congrats and Welcome! The first time I test drove my Big Horn I was backing into a parking space with a higher than usual curb. The truck slammed on the auto brakes and needless to say, I needed to change my trousers. Thought I broke a truck I didn’t even buy yet. I hate the feature, which can be disabled, but it might save my *** one day. I’m just cognizant of it now.
