Just traded my very much loved ‘07 Avalanche for a ‘19 Laramie Longhorn with 83k.
what should I do asap?
Trans service-Flush or no? Fluid and filter only?
Belts?
plugs/wires?

The trans service is a fluid change (not a flush) + pan change (the pan has the filter built-in). RAM states it's a lifetime fluid, but ZF actually recommends fluid changes at 150k kilometers (lets just round up to 100k miles to make it simple).

Belts are scheduled for 150k miles.

Plugs are 100k miles.

First thing I would do is rear gear (and front + transfer case if 4x4) oil change and a trans fluid change. Who knows how much towing that truck has gone through during that 83k miles.

Check both the engine and cabin air filter
+1. Many folks completely skip changing cabin air filters, and they get very disgusting. Not sure you really want to be breathing air that has flowed through a moldy or black filter.
+1 for the gear oil change as well. Pretty easy on these trucks compared to the older Rams.

First thing I would do is drive it a bit and see if everything seems OK before you start tinkering with stuff that is probably perfectly fine.

What’s this talk about maintenance!?! An 8” lift and 37’s on 24” rims should be the priority
