Hi Guys,

I picked up a new 2020 Ram Rebel a couple of months back. I was final able to order my Mopar accessories because the dealers in Michigan have had their parts department closed. I loved my Mopar soft tr-fold cover that I had on my old 2015 Ram 1500. It had a canvas type of material that held up extremely well. So, I order another tri-fold (part #82215863) for my 2020 Rebel . When I unboxed it today, I was surprised to find that it had the crappy vinyl instead of the canvas. Is there another Mopar tonneau that has the canvas material instead of the vinyl? Did anyone get a Ram 1500 with the factory order soft tri-fold? If so, is it the vinyl material or canvas? Also, the one I order didn't have the curved front next to the cab. My 2015 was curved to match the front of the bed.

Thanks,
Tom

They’re all vinyl.
Mine’s holding up very well after two years (still looks brand new), so no complaints from me.

So, the ones for the 4th gen Ram are canvas, but not for the 5th gen trucks?

The Mopar cover that I have has a strait front frame. It looks awful. What is that plastic piece at the front side of the cover? Mine doesn't have that either.
It’s a bump stop where the folded pieces rest. The pieces towards the center are the clips to lock them in place.

Did your truck have the factory installed tri-fold? Mine has the 2 clips, but not the bump stop.

Yes. It’s the OE tonneau that came from the factory.

Mine’s OEM as well, and it’s identical to the pics @Neurobit shared.
That is so weird. Why is the factory one different than the one you order at the dealer? Is the front of your tonneau curved to match the front of the bed?

So, has anyone been able to order the factory curved one after the fact? Maybe it is a different Mopar part number.

Not really a fan of the tri-fold. Really prefer the roll up and clip so you have full access to the bed for large items/loads.

Does anyone know if the Trifecta Signature 2.0 has a curved front to match the box? The Trifecta Signature seems to be the only other one I can find that uses canvas instead of vinyl.

I have one my Ram box bed and it is not curved. I'll try get a pic tomorrow.
