My truck developed a metallic rattle in the right front when hitting bumps. Was told I need a new front diff because of the intermediate shaft leading to the right front half shaft. No worries because I’m still under powertrain warranty. My question is, Did I cause this issue. I have a BTS with ORP springs. Started off with a 2.5 puck and then switched to RC 3.5 strut. I also have 2” Bora wheel spacers. I only have 39k miles on the truck and don’t want to have to deal with this issue repeatedly. I’d like to level/lift the truck again after repairs. I plan on going with Eibach this time around. Was it the 3.5 lift? The wheel spacers? Combination of both?

I doubt the wheel spacers had any effect. You could go with the Trakmotiv extended travel axles to help with the issue moving forward. Also, would be a good idea to replace the UCAs. Be happy they are replacing it under warranty with the lift on it.

I have UCA’s rated for lifted applications. Forgot to mention that before. It’s in stock form right now. I had all the stock components just in case. I looked at those half shafts before. How would they help the output shaft though?
