So - electrical issues going on.
2019 Ram Laramie 5.7L

First my UConnect radio started going 'flaky' -- rebooting constantly. Very strange. The next day the the battery died and the truck would not start.

The battery was 'close' to 36 months (actually about 25), but I figured "bad battery".. so...
I bought a brand new Interstate AGM battery and installed it a couple days ago -- the truck is in my garage at about 50 degrees.

Came out this morning. Battery was at 9V -- truck won't start.

Any ideas?

I know that on my 21 Limited, after 2 years the dealer replaced it, along wit hthe 48 v battery eTq batter behind the rear seat. Shortly before I traded it, I had it in for a TSB for the ABS system and at that time they indicated again the battery needed to be replaced, I chose not to have it done because I planned on trading it in. They quoted me over $500 as they said the battery was expensive to replace. (Not the 48v etq battery), so either these batteries are "sub par" or there are some parasitic loss happening somewhere. My dealer says that the new truck 25 Tungsten comes with a 36 month (Included in the factory warranty) for battery replacement. I was also told that the battery is a dealer replacement item that if you go out and just buy a battery, you can't use it as there is something to do with the programing of the vehicle that prevents that. I find that a little hard to believe, but with RAM trucks who knows.

thanks for the reply --

I think there may be a parasitic drain from that Uconnect radio. I have pulled the fuse -- going to check it later.
Something threw a code also - checking that.

thx again
