Hello! I just purchased my 2020 1500 Laramie Sport in Billet Silver w/ Rambox. I am a parts manager for a DCJR dealer and have been in the parts business now for 14 years and all of them with the same auto dealer group.

Hope to get out with my Cannon Rebel EOS T7 with some nice weather for some pictures and to share a few here on the forum.

Mods so far are:
  • Dash, front and rear door speakers swapped to Infinity Reference Series units. Sounds, to me, significantly better than the factory units. Door 6"x9" speakers part number "9633IX". Dash 3.5" speakers part number "3032cfx"
  • Mopar soft tri-fold tonneau cover part number "82215862"
  • XPEL PPF complete front end, mirrors, door handle pockets and door edges.
  • Factory take-off 18" Ram DT wheels for winter are already stacked and waiting for winter tires. Just in case it is really bad out and I choose not to take out my daily driver '19 Ioniq Limited Electric (which also has winter tires, but we don't care about that car here ).
  • Future mods include a DiabloSport PCM and Trinity 2 install once the engine is broken in and first oil change is done.
Thank you for having me and I hope to contribute to the forum and learn from others.

Congrats. I too have a ‘19 Ioniq EV as my other car. Absolutely love it. My 3 month spreadsheet update was 183 MPGe. My ram averaged 16.9 this week. I also have some 20 OE ram bighorn take off 18” wheels waiting for tires for this winter. I may go with studded snows. The costs seem to be tempting right now but just have not decided. I will say the Ioniq is great in the snow too.

Oh that is awesome! It is quite a nice combo to have. If I have errands to run around town I just take the Ioniq. But if the things I need will not fit in that I can take the truck. Also, this combo is great in case fuel prices spike again (I hope not).

I have never ran studded, but I do not get the mixed weather you may get up there in Maine. I haven't picked what tires I am going to go with, but I wanted 18" wheels to keep the tire cost down. I agree about the Ioniq in the snow. I run snow tires on the Ioniq as well and I think it gets through quite a bit of snow and mixed winter precipitation pretty well for what it is.
