Just purchased a 2019 Longhorn Laramie New 1500 Ram. Needed to take my wife to her doctors appt so i entered in the Office name and it did find it, however the location shown was 3 years old. When i entered the actual address it could not find it and I noticed the message "offline search".

Questions;

1. What is the latest map version #
2. Since i signed up for the AT&T Wifi Hotspot will it look online for the address?

I have the 12" U Connect and like the Map size while driving. Since it could not find the location I fired up Android Auto on the Top and had Sirius running on the bottom.

I typically search it in the map on the uconnect all and hit "send n go". 5 seconds later it pops up on the 12" and I hit "go".

i noticed mine said it was q2 2017 for the map file. i checked on garmin's FCA site and it said there was no update available.

i use waze on android auto most of the time anyway.

I use Android Auto for long trip (less data intensive) and Waze when in and around bigger cities for the added user content... really haven't used the onboard NAV.

Thank you all for the replies. I asked my dealer to verify map version.

I was there was a way to delete navigation from the 12" screens to save money :) I agree I use mostly google maps, just because everything else (besides Waze) just isn't as good.
