Hello, I've been searching everywhere to find out where this hack can be installed on my truck, but I haven't had any luck. They provide instructions for every other Ram model, except for the 3.6L eTorque. My hoses don't indicate "engine out," I'm hoping someone can assist me with this by providing pictures. My truck is a 2020 V6 eTorque 1500, and the air conditioning isn't blowing out very cold air. Thank you so much for your help!

I just did this about 2 weeks ago on my 21 1500 with the 3.6. I honestly have not noticed a difference, but if you still want to do it, attach it to the hoses labeled 1. It's going to be the top hose on the firewall and inside hose by the MGU. Hope this helps.

I feel like my 21 5.7 also has a weak ac system but reading into this topic on other threads, it seems like the 21s didn’t really benefit with this hack. I think I heard something about a TSB? I’m gunna call my dealership.

The freon level should be checked before closing off the heater core, which is only applicable for 2019 - mid 2020 models

I installed and removed the shut off not too long after. It made the AC cold however it was only ice cold and you lost the dual zone capability.

air con removes heat it's a closed system if it's low it has a leak. on a long trip it has a chance to remove all the heat so it actually gets cold.
you gotta figure everything in the interior is hot short trips and getting in and out and letting heat back in it don't have a chance to do it's work.
ac is relative if ambient air in the truck is 100 than 80 degree air is cool. the AC outlet air temperature should be about 20 degrees cooler than the ambient air temp. best thing to do would be to check the temps

Most people dont realize that. A residential AC Tech told me the same thing years ago and not to use program the thermostats to raise the temp when you leave and lower it towards the end of the day.
The AC still has to cool off all the furniture, the floor, the walls, the ceiling and everything else in the house giving off heat so in the end, the AC runs the same and saves no money. The trucks AC is exactly the same way, you can feel the heat coming off the seats and center console on a hot day when the trucks been closed up.

That said, i had the AC TSB done and my AC is icy and much colder now than it was prior to the TSB being done

At the risk of asking about a topic that has been covered elsewhere, the AUTO setting is not at all nuanced. Get in a hot truck and it blasts away in an attempt to get the temperature down. Okay, but as the cab temp lowers, blast mode doesn't reduce with it. In fact I'm not sure at what point the fan speed finally reduces. I don't want to wait to find out so I often manually reduce the fan speed, thus taking it out of Auto mode of course. This is for a 2020. Is it any better with the 2025?

Mine does, have you had the TSB update?
