Has anyone used the multimedia box from streamtoyourcar.com on the CarPlay? I’m wondering if this is legit or not?

This particular unit plugs into a USB port in your vehicle and allows you to watch YouTube, Netflix, or play games, etc. Basically anything you can do on an iPhone or Android phone you can have on your uconnect screen.

No worries, though it can impact vehicle performance if you watch videos while driving!

As a word of caution for this kind of stuff, any system updates to your devices (including uConnect) can potentially break functionality with stuff like this and they are often a little buggy - which is just the nature of the beast. If you have an old device you can dedicate to your car for media, like an old iPhone or Android phone that you know will work, use that instead of your main device.

This works independently of your phone or any device. Saw some what I hope to be honest youtube reviews of it. Runs on Android 9.0. Will be delivered Monday and I will get it set up and running and provide honest feedback!

Let me start by saying i bought this...nobody gave it to me or asked me to review. this thing is incredible. the wireless carplay works great and the video on the uconnect is flawless! i tried netflix, you tube, an IPTV app amongst other things. Voices are perfectly synced. Only thing you need is to turn on your mobile hotspot as that is how it streams. I HIGHLY recommend this little box.
