Have a 2022 with 99k and having some strange issues with the multifunction Tailgate. Started a month or so ago and it would not open, in any direction. Dealer replaced some parts can't remember exactly what (latch assembly, and a module). Eventually "fixing" the issue, so we thought. A few days later I tried to be open the tailgate while the truck was running and it wouldn't open. No unlock sound, nothing. I grabbed my proximity key to try, no luck. Ended up shutting the truck off and it worked. We have isolated the issue to when the truck is running, tailgate won't function.
Dealer has had the truck for the last 2 weeks going back and forth with Ram tech support as there's not alot of info. They replaced a wiring harness, 2 more control modules, and still nothing. They said the signals are being recieved but it won't function.
Anybody ever had a similar issue? This is turning into a mess because they have to keep waiting for tech support to guide them to the next option. My truck will now be out of extended warranty so I need this functioning 100% before they can close the case.
