Multi-function tailgate unavailable to order?

Ordered a new Longhorn a week ago. Emailed dealer this weekend to see if it had all gone through ok. One of the options ordered is the new tailgate. Here is the response -

"I just talked to my sales manager and he has a call in to our district manager. From what we are seeing there is an order constraint on the tailgate. We are waiting to hear from him.
I will be in touch hopefully, early afternoon."

I did not hear back. Anyone else hearing this?

dang..perhaps demand is to strong to keep up with supply??? I love mine...

I ordered mine on 9/11 with the MFT and didn't hear about any issues with ordering. Mine has been sitting in D1 since last week.
