Thanks for having me in your group. Replaced the factory muffler with a Magnaflow 18" muffler, now it seems like the brakes are dragging. Im a "coaster" coasting down hills and such and it seems to lose speed. would resetting the PCM or ECU help?

Welcome to the forum. I do not have an answer for you. Perhaps another member can help.

Check your brake lines, the rubber ones for pinching or damage from the muffler install. Make sure the cable for the parking brake didn't fudged up too.
I once had (on another car) a rubber brake line start to come apart inside and it acted like a check valve. jack up the wheel and it turns fine, hit the brakes and it took 10 minutes for the fluid to get back enough so the brake was "off"
Unless you have x-ray vision, you can't see that and it drove me (no pun intended) nuts until I found it.

So bleeding off speed is more pronounced than the normal caused by off throttle engine braking.
Like Kicker said, check for damage.

kapinallinen2 you said engine breaking, is there away to disable that feature?
Engine braking while down-shifting is done elegantly IMO. Would not want to disable it.
My daughter, "free-wheeling" Honda owner, loved the way my Rebel shifted.
Not sure, you might actually have a brake issue but should be pretty easy to tell apart

Probably just the sound of the new muffler throwing you off.

The reason I asked if, "Engine brake turned off," is that I had a Silverado with the tow package and you could turn off the engine brake when you dont have a trailer.
