MP3 file infos

Hello,

I noticed that when i play my USB MP3 songs, only the very minimum information appear about the music
In almost all other cars there will be a kind of "gracenote" database, adding album picture, album or track infos, etc....

what did i miss here?

It’s how they were imported when they were ripped. You can always go back to your computer and add the album pic and info, then copy them back to usb drive

i have updated all the music files, including album pictures
all infos are now visible on the uconnnect, but the album pictures are missing

do you see album pictures in uconnect 12" when reading MP3's?

I see them, but mine are *in* the tag, not separate files on the drive.

thanks! me too, in the file, (inserted with windows media player) perhaps i need to give it the time

Also check the sizes of the pictures. I know the 8.4" Uconnect screen in our Jeep won't show anything over 950x950. I don't see any info about what the size limitation might be on the 12".

the pictures are inbeeded by microsoft media player, i guess the size is standardized
